After customs clearance, you will receive an invoice from us. You’ll have 14 days to pay the invoice.
You’ll pay an ‘advance commission’ of 2% on VAT and import duties, since Cargomate has to pay the money to the customs in advance.In addition, there could also be an anti-dumping tax, charged by the customs based on your HS code. We can check this for you, before doing the customs clearance.
HS codes are codes, determined by the WDO, to classify goods. By this classification, the customs can charge a certain amount of import duties, or restrict the import of this product.

Imagine you're a Belgian company, and you want to sell your products in the Netherlands. Normally, when you import goods into another EU country like the Netherlands, you have to pay the Dutch Value Added Tax (VAT) upfront at the border.
However, with LFR, you can work with a fiscal representative in the Netherlands. This representative temporarily takes care of your Dutch VAT responsibilities. So, when your goods arrive in the Netherlands, you don't have to pay VAT immediately. You can sell your products, and the VAT will be settled later, making cross-border trade smoother and more cost-effective for your Belgian business.
